Rock Hill – Mr. John Wayne Estes, 75, of Rock Hill, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at his home.
The family will receive friends 6:00 until 7:30 PM Sunday, April 15, 2018. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 16, 2018 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. The burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road.
Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Estes was preceded in death by his grandson, Jr. Sexton; parents, William Franklin Estes and Elizabeth Bolin Estes; brothers, Donnie Estes, Billy and James Tadlock; and his sister, Dianne Anderson.
Johnny was a fulltime outdoorsman that loved, fishing, Hunting, and gardening. He also loved to cook and the New York Yankees, but most of all he loved his family. He was a standing member of the NRA, the Bass Masters Association and a retired pipe fitter that formerly worked for Daniels Construction.
Survivors include, his loving wife of 33 years, Ann Estes; son, John Wayne Estes, Jr. of Rock Hill; daughters, Teresa Casey Locklear (Donnie) of Belmont, NC, Tammy Casey Ratterree (Bugg) of Catawba, SC, and Sheila Casey Love (Tommy) of Rock Hill; brothers, Robert Estes (Darlene) Larry Tadlock, and sister Terry Davis “Baby Girl” (Thurman) all of Blacksburg, SC; grandchildren, Chad, TJ, Tyler, Daniel, Addison and Ansley; six great grandchildren.
