Rock Hill –Mr. Richard N. Casler, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.
Funeral service for Mr. Casler will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill SC 29732, with the Pastors Jerry Devinney and Joey Deese officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private. The family will receive friend’s other times at his home.
Born in Canton, Ohio to Charles E. and Genevieve Elizabeth Sadowski Casler. Richard was an US Navy Veteran; he currently worked as a Work Integration Coordinator with Duke Energy and has more than 40 years of service in many different capacities. Richard was also a faithful member of Oakdale Baptist Church, where he served in various roles. One of his favorite pastimes was traveling with his wife, Deloris and family.
Richard is survived in addition to his wife of almost 51 years, Deloris Yeater Casler; by his son Michael Dale Casler and wife Crystal of Rock Hill; his daughter Melissa Lynn Gamble and her fiancé Ted Mullinax of Rock Hill; brothers Chuck Casler, (Maria), Jimmy Casler, (Kellie), Timmy Casler, (Mary) all of Ohio; his sister Darlene Buck, (Rick) of Ohio; grandchildren whom Richard adored, Alexis, Caleb and Matthew Gamble; Brendan and Lauren Casler all of Rock Hill. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a brother Butch Casler and a sister Sharon Monnot.
Memorials may be made in Mr. Casler’s name to Oakdale Baptist Church Building Fund, 1249 Oakdale Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
