Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Boyce Edward Mabry, Jr., 77, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center.

A private service will be held in his honor.

Born in Senatobia, Mississippi, Boyce was the son of the late Boyce Edward Mabry, Sr. and the late Pearl Heath Craig Mabry. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Mabry and Gary Mabry.

Boyce proudly served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1974, with assignments in Guam, Germany, and Maine. During his service, he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and two Meritorious Unit Commendations for his work with NSGA Guam and NSGA Bremerhaven.

Following his military service, Boyce worked in telecommunications and later retired from Schaeffler. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Rock Hill and cherished his faith community.

Boyce found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He was devoted to his wife of 57 years, Mary Helen, his high school sweetheart. Together, they built a life filled with love, travel, good food, and shared passions like gardening.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Helen Chestnut Mabry; their children, Shane Mabry (Brandie), Clay Mabry (Eden), and Shannon Jacobs (Richard); eight grandchildren, Storm Jacobs (Emily), Bailey Usher (Joel), Madison Jacobs, Cruise Jacobs, Hailey Mabry, Asher Mabry, Mary-Pearl Mabry, and Leon Mabry; four great-grandchildren, Paisley Weeks, Livie Weeks, Rhett Jacobs, and Maggie Jacobs; and his sisters, Beverly Hewett (Bill) and Melanie Brock (Jason).

Boyce will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family.
