In Loving Memory of Bobby A. Hopkins
Bobby A. Hopkins, age 84, of Rock Hill, went to be with the Lord on September 22nd, 2025. A memorial service in his honor will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church. The service will be officiated by his son, Rev. Reggie Hopkins.
Early Life and Family
Born in Jefferson, South Carolina, Bobby was the son of the late William Carson Hopkins and the late Maebell Delay Hopkins. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Hopkins; his daughter, Susan Hopkins; his sisters, Judy Rabon and Joann Privette; and his brothers, Billy Ray Hopkins and Carson E. Hopkins.
Surviving Family
Bobby is survived by his sons, Shawn Hopkins (Christy) of Fort Mill, and Reggie Hopkins (Tina) of Rock Hill; his daughters, Kelly Anderson (Trey) of Catawba, Maleah Booth of Rock Hill, and Robin Bailey (Timmy) of Rock Hill. His surviving siblings include sisters Vivan Hare (Larry), Donna Gross (Wayne), and Luvenia Hopkins; and brothers Jerry Hopkins and Ricky Hopkins. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service and Remembrances
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Hopkins’ name to Calvary Baptist Church, 830 N Jones Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
