Mr. Wylie W. Craig, 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte, N.C.

Wylie was born in Rock Hill, S.C., the son of the late Houston R. Craig and the late Janie Steele Craig. He was a truck driver for 26 years and drove over a million miles from coast to coast. He owned Blue Moon Recycling, named after his call name. He enjoyed watching western movies and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Wylie is preceded in death by his daughter, Dianne Whitaker; his son, Buddy Craig; his brothers, Walt Craig, Billy Craig, Boyd Craig, Max Craig, Ed Craig, and Johnny Craig, and his sister, Irene Craig.

Wylie is survived by his son, Wylie (JR) Craig Jr. (Connie); his daughter, Janice Stamm (Oliver); his granddaughters, Angela Hale (Lin), Linda Lambert (Michael), Alicia McDowell (Ryan), and Heather McClary (Travis); 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren; his sister, Kathleen Rockhold, and his brothers, Dewey Craig, Jerry Craig and Jay Craig.

A private service will be held graveside with his close family and friends, officiated by his granddaughter, Linda Lambert.
