Jacqueline “Jackie” McCorkle passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by family.
She was a loving wife to her rock and partner, Douglas McCorkle of 50 years (married for 43). She was a devoted mother to Sandy Adkins, Stephanie (Rusty) Lanier and Karl (Darci) Buchanan.
Jackie is survived by her grandchildren – Matthew (Meghan) White, Jessica (Ryne) Herring, Andrew (Alexis) Buchanan, Kasey (Sean) Torrez and her great-grandchildren – Kendra White, Luke White, Aiden Torrez, Addison Herring, Avery Torrez, Brooks Buchanan, Avery Herring, Avery White, and Hudson Buchanan. She also leaves behind her beloved service dog, Stella.
Jackie was known for her strength, humor, sincerity, and deep love for her family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 2:00–3:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life from 3:00–4:00 p.m. at Greene Funeral Home, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to The Metrolina Association for the Blind – Charlotte Chapter.
