It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Cu Van Dao, who departed this life on December 18, 2025, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Born on September 28, 1957, in Vietnam, Cu Van Dao lived a life filled with perseverance, dedication, and quiet strength.
Cu Van Dao was a cherished individual who brought warmth and kindness into the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Throughout his life, he exemplified resilience and an unwavering work ethic. He dedicated a significant part of his career to Frito Lay, where he worked in production. His colleagues admired him not only for his commitment to excellence in his work but also for his ability to lift the spirits of those around him.
Cu Van Dao was a man of few words, yet his actions spoke volumes. He lived with humility and grace, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting smile to those in need. His gentle spirit and nurturing heart left an indelible mark on the lives of many, and his memory will continue to inspire those who carry his legacy forward.
A viewing will be held on December 19, 2025, at 2:30 PM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, located at 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Following the viewing, a Mass will take place at 5:30 PM at Our Lady of Vietnam, honoring Cu Van Dao’s life and the values he held dear.
As we gather to celebrate his life, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives, the lessons he imparted, and the love that he shared so selflessly. Cu Van Dao’s spirit will forever remain a guiding light to those who knew him, and his memory will be cherished in our hearts.
