Gloria Jean Faulkenberry, 84 of Catawba, South Carolina, passed away peacefully in her home on December 18, 2025. Born on March 10, 1941 in Dillon, South Carolina.
Gloria is proceeded in death by her father, Henry Sweatt, and her mother, Minnie Foster. Gloria lived a long and meaningful life rooted in her love for family, community, and faith.
Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She shared 66 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jimmie. Together they built a life centered on care and devotion, raising two children, Becky Faulkenberry Earle, and Eric Faulkenberry (Bethney), and later welcoming the joy of two grandchildren, Brandon Faulkenberry (Bailey), and Brittany E. Denio (Anthony). She also enjoyed her 5 great grandchildren.
In her spare time, she enjoyed flower gardening, playing cards, reading, and going to Hot Rod shows.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 10:30am at Catawba Baptist Church, 1450 Anderson Rd S, Rock Hill, SC 29730. Interment will follow the service at Catawba Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will welcome visitors at the church following burial.
