Roy E. Dupree, 80, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, December 19, 2025.
Born in Columbus, Georgia, Roy was the son of the late Alma and Howard Dupree. He spent most of his life in Florida before recently settling in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Roy was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Following his service, he built a long and dedicated career at Florida Hospital in Orlando, where he took great pride in his work and the many meaningful relationships he formed over the years.
Roy is survived by his loving wife, Mary, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. He is also survived by his sons, James Dupree and his wife Desiree of Clover, SC, and Craig Dupree and his wife Lisa of Eustis, FL; as well as his three grandchildren, Jenna, Jacen, and Calen Dupree. In addition, he is survived by his twin brother, Troy Dupree, and his wife Judy of Trinity, FL.
He was predeceased by his brother Wayne Dupree and Velma Dontonville.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
