Brian Keith Price, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on April 17, 1968, in Concord, North Carolina, Keith was the oldest of six siblings, and was raised by his devoted grandparents, Pete and Mary Johnson. He is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Keith’s early life in Concord shaped his character; he was a spirited young man who relied on his physical strength and tough exterior during a challenging childhood. Growing up alongside his younger brother, Dwayne Price, and sister, Abbie Seals, Keith forged a unique connection with his family, four of whom he would not meet until adulthood.

His journey took a significant turn during his high school years at North Cabarrus High School, where a chance encounter at a Charlotte dance club with Wendy Brunet, a Rock Hill native who was two years his senior, would change his life forever. Their love blossomed quickly, and what started with loving glances on the dance floor turned into a lifelong bond. Their relationship was nurtured through long-distance phone calls and heartfelt love letters until they married in 1986.

Together, they created a beautiful family, welcoming three children into their lives: Ashley, Brian, and Amanda. In 1993, they built a home in Rock Hill, which became a gathering place for family and friends. Keith’s life was transformed when he and Wendy found faith at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship church, a moment that defined his character. From that day forward, he made a commitment to live a life of integrity, free from alcohol and foul language, always guided by his deep devotion to God. His well-worn Bible remained a constant companion, a testament to his unwavering faith until his last moments.

Keith was immensely proud of his children, supporting them through all of life’s milestones, from graduations to marriages and beyond. His daughter Ashley gifted him the joy of being a grandfather to Kinsleigh Jewell, born in 2017, and Beau Jewell, born in 2020. He embraced his role with enthusiasm, always ensuring that their favorite snacks and drinks were at the ready when they visited, and playing the role of the witty, light-hearted grandfather who filled their lives with joy.

Professionally, Keith was known for his loyalty and dedication, spending an impressive 38 years as a machine operator at Greif, formerly known as Caraustar and Star Paper Tube. His hard work and commitment were recognized through numerous awards for his output. Following the plant’s closure in 2023, Keith embraced the opportunity for a well-deserved break, indulging in his passions: hunting, family trips to the beach and mountains, and enjoying his favorite movies and television shows.

As a sports enthusiast, Keith’s passion for football intensified in his later years, particularly for South Pointe High School and Clemson University. His fall weekends revolved around watching games, where he would follow the careers of many successful Rock Hill players, celebrating their achievements regardless of their teams in the NCAA and NFL.

Keith had a special bond with animals as well, leaving behind his beloved black cat, Glen, who was his doppelgänger in animal form, and Amanda’s cowboy corgi, Buckle. Glen continues to roam the house in search of his partner in crime, a poignant reminder of Keith’s whimsical spirit.

He is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Price; his siblings, Dwayne Price (Susan), Abbie Seals, and Rhonda Leviner; his children, Ashley Price (Mike Jewell), Brian Price, and Amanda Reid (Wyatt); and his cherished grandchildren, Kinsleigh and Beau Jewell.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, located at 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. Interment will take place at Laurelwood Cemetery, 143 Laurel St, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Keith’s memory to a charity of your choice. His legacy of love, faith, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Keith Price lived a life rich in love, faith, and family; he will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.
