Judith Ann (Johnson) Stuckey, better known as Judy, Mom or Nana to her family and friends, passed away at the age of 78 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on January 28, 2026.  After many years of pain, her body is whole again with Jesus.

On January 25, 1948, Judy was born in Effingham, Illinois, the beloved daughter to James Arthur Johnson and Sallie Lou Johnson. She met her future husband, Don Stuckey, when his family moved to town in the fourth grade.  They attended the eighth-grade dance together, but didn’t become an item until their senior year of college when Don asked Judy out for New Year’s Eve.

On June 12, 1971, Judy and Don were married and spent more than 54 wonderful years together. Judy taught third grade for two years before being blessed with a family and the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom to four children.

Judy loved being a Mom, but she loved being a Nana more. Her seven grandkids brought her so much joy. She loved visiting with them, seeing pictures of them and talking to them on Marco Polo or FaceTime.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Sallie Johnson, and her brother, Donald (Doc).

She is survived by her husband, Don; children, Amy Williams (David), Todd Stuckey (Amy), Jill Stuckey (Michelle) and Mandy Christman (Steven); and grandchildren, Zach, Julia, Caitlin, Ryan, Natalie, Grace and Grant, and her brothers, Jim Johnson (Cathy) and Dennis Johnson (Debbie).

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on February 7, 2026, at Impact Church, 5115 Old York Rd, Rock Hill, SC. Family will receive guests after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Impact Church at impactmycity.org/give
