Donna Hollingsworth Wilson, 65, of York, SC peacefully passed away in her home on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
Born in Rock Hill, SC; Donna was the daughter of the late Hugh John Hollingsworth Sr. (Holly) and Alluwee Dyches Hollingsworth. She was proceeded in death by her sister Annie Kay Daughtrey, her two brothers Danny Alfred Hollingsworth and Hugh “John” Hollingsworth Jr. and her beloved nephew Rick Hall.
Donna was a wonderful mother, Nana, Great Nana, and astounding friend. As a person, she was loving, thoughtful, funny, caring, and in times, a little stubborn. She always enjoyed being with her family and friends making memories and taking every chance she could to dip her toes on to a beaches shore. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and you could play a Jimmy Buffet song 1000 times and she would never get tired of it. Her passion in life was making sure her family and friends knew that they were well taken care of. She was also very passionate about being self-driven and devoted 30+ years to the company of Livingston and Haven from which she retired.
Donna is survived by her only daughter, Christie Lynn Pate (Tripp) her two grandchildren Holly Wilson and Bailey Iannone (Raelynn), her great grandson Hudson Iannone all of York, SC, and her sister Debbie H. Jarman (Steve) of Newport, NC.
Family will welcome and receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 1pm at Greene Funeral Home Norwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732. A service will take place following at 2pm with the burial taking place immediately after the service at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
