ELAINE CAROL BOONE THOMAS, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 18, 2026.
She was born in Rock Hill, SC on February 26, 1951 to the late Yancey Boone and Stella Whitaker Boone.
In addition to her parents, Elaine was proceeded in death by 15 brothers & sisters.
Elaine was outgoing and mischievous in nature. She loved spending time with her family.
She loved her family but most of all she Loved Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Elaine lived most of her life at Cherry Grove Apartments making many friends and sitting on the porch with them discussing & solving the world’s problems until she had to move to Rock Hill Post Acute Care.
Elaine will truly be missed!
Elaine’s survivors are her son, Roger Dale Boone. Her Daughter, Monica Stella Thomas. Grandson, Michael Austin Stallings; her Sisters, Mary Lou Thomas and Mary Gardner; as well as her very special nieces Holly Kelly and Alisha Kelly.
Elaine is also survived by her friend & niece by marriage, Angie Thomas. Also to cherish her memory are many nieces and nephews.
Family will welcome and receive friends from 11:30am-12:45pm on Friday, May 29, 2026 with a service following at 1:00pm taking place at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White St. Rock Hill, SC 29730. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Forest Hills Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Rock Hill Post Acute Care for their love and Care for Elaine while she was in their care.
