Donald Keith Gregory, 82, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away on June 1, 2026. Donald was born on March 15, 1944, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Donald served his country with dedication, completing 20 years of service in the United States Army. Both during and after his military career, he pursued his passion for learning, earning degrees from San Angelo State University and Winthrop University. He went on to build a distinguished civilian career as a network administrator, spending 24 years with United Supply Company.

Those who knew Donald remembered him for the qualities that defined him: a sharp, keen intelligence, an unshakable calm, and a dry wit that could catch you off guard and leave you smiling. He carried himself with quiet confidence and met life’s moments — large and small — with steady grace.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Gregory and Andrea Rikard; grandsons Christopher Lee, Tyler Lee, Bradley Rikard, and Sean Faulkner and his wife LeighAnn Faulkner; granddaughter Tiffany Lee; and great-grandson Nick Lee.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Tinkler Gregory; his father, Wylie Gregory Sr.; his mother, Dorothy Gregory; and his brothers, Wylie Gregory Jr., Marion Gregory, and Jack Gregory.

A committal service for Donald and Shirley will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 24, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, South Carolina.

Friends and family are then invited to an informal drop in Celebration of Life from 6:00 to 8:00 PM that evening at St. John’s Methodist Church( in The Core building)  in Rock Hill, South Carolina.”
