Lady Laura Parsons McNair, 100 years old, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina died on June 16, 2026.
Laura, daughter of Vertie Elma Shepherd and William Garvie Parsons, is the loving widow of Louis Benjamin McNair who died on 21st October 2011. They were married in York, South Carolina on 26th of September 1942.
Laura loved antiques, fishing, baking, and gardening. She came from Royalty. Her lineage traces to Magna Carta Baron,Henry De Bohun, and other lines include direct descendants of King Edward 1st and Charlemagne.
She is a member of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and National Society of Colonial Dames XVII Century.
