Beloved mother and cherished grandmother, Lecreda B. Smith, 72, passed away on June 17, 2026 in York, SC. Native of York County, SC, she was retired from the Moss Justice Center.
Lecreda married Tommy Smith, and together they had five children. Lecreda was an active member at Living By Faith Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening, baking, and crafting.
Lecreda is survived by her son Thomas Smith,Jr (Chrissy), Daughters Lolitta Cook, (Jeremy), Amanda Brown (David), Nichole Thomason(Roger), and 9 grandchildren: Devin (Katelyn), Jada (Evan), Julia, Jacob, Gracie, Isabella, Kobe, Ruba, Jaxon, and 2 great grandchildren, Rayla and Ava. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy and sons David Jenkins and Travis Smith.
Drop in Visitation with friends and family will be at Lecreda’s home. Funeral will be held at Living By Faith Baptist Church 2201 Chester Hwy York, SC on June 20, 2026 at 3:00pm, officiated by Preacher Alan Peeler.
