Ellie H. Doster, 87, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026.
Ellie dedicated over 40 years of service as an educator with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where she touched the lives of countless students throughout her career. She was also a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC.
She is survived by her sisters, Susan H. Lane of Atlanta, Georgia, and Rebecca H. Treadaway (Sam) of Rock Hill, South Carolina, along with many loving family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
Ellie will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to education, and her faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
