Rebekah Rae Davis Contri, 43, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Becky was the 2nd daughter of 3 children and loved and cherished those relationships with her siblings every day of her life. She graduated from Rochester High school class of 2001 in Rochester, Indiana. She then went on to Indiana State University to graduate with a bachelors of science degree and an MBA. She started working for Duke Energy in 2008 and remained there for the rest of her career, finishing her time there as a Senior Business Operations Analyst based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Rocky and Becky were married April 19, 2008 and throughout their time together gathered friends who became family and brought family close enough to be called friends. The Cartee, Breece, McCarter, Bowen, Simpson, Bowers, and Andreas families were amongst the bedrock of relationships they built their life on. She loved the beach and to travel and always dreamed of being able to do so abroad. She was small in stature but so large in heart, fiercely passionate about her people and her sense of justice and fairness. To meet her was to immediately want to care for her, and to know her was to learn that she was extremely independent and driven in her beliefs. Her passion for her husband and her children, and their passionate love for her, was obvious to anyone and everyone.
She was born with a very rare genetic disease called Fanconi Anemia (FA), although it was not discovered until later in her life. Bone marrow failure is extremely common with the disease and people with FA have a very high risk of developing several different types of cancer. The Levine Cancer Institute out of Charlotte, NC was able to diagnose her and through their exceptional staff of doctors and medical professionals were able treat her and help extend her life beyond her diagnoses. Becky is survived by her husband, Rocky; sons: Aiden & Rylan; mother: Debby Davis; father & step-mom: Marvin & Kay Davis; sister: Lesley & Phil Bowers; sister-in-law: Stephanie Davis; nieces and nephews: Brock, Drew, Wade, Lilly, and Lyla Bowers, Alexis and Elliette Davis, Miranda and Caspian Foust, and Liam Andreas and a host of other family and friends.
Becky was preceded in death by her daughter: Annabelle Contri and brother: Scott Davis.
