Rock Hill, SC – James Richard Litton, 79, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026.
Born in Richmond, Indiana, James was the son of the late Luther D. Litton and the late Virginia Orr Litton. He was also preceded in death by his brother, L. Joseph Litton.
James is survived by his daughter, Louvina Litton (Scotty); his son, Loren Litton, and his brothers, John Litton (Lynette) and Jerry Litton (Donna), as well as his nieces and nephews.
James will be laid to rest at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 9:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James’s name to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Organization.
