Teresa (Terry) Emily Jackman, 72, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Born on November 27, 1953, in Clifton Springs, New York, Terry was the beloved daughter of Theodore Miller and Mildred Ball Miller, both of whom preceded her in death.

Terry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Jackman, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, faith, and partnership.

She is also survived by her stepmother, Barbara Miller; and her siblings, Christine Leonard (Steve), Kathy Rosier (Bruce), Theodore Miller II (Nancy), and Deb Mortillaro.

Terry leaves behind her children: Rebecca “Becky” Jackman; Daniel Jackman; Amy White (Michael); Timothy Jackman (Katie); Rachel Dye (Alex); and Anna Hoffman (Stephen).

She was a proud grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Cali Hoffman, Sam Hoffman, Molly White, Rhett Jackman, Beckett Jackman, Megan White, and Whitt Jackman. One of Terry’s greatest blessings was helping raise, nurture, and disciple her grandchildren, investing in their lives with love, wisdom, and an unwavering example of Christian faith.

Terry’s faith was the foundation of her life. A longtime member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, she dedicated countless hours in service to her church family. She managed the church library for many years, served in the children’s ministry, led and participated in numerous small groups and Bible studies, maintained the church email prayer chain, and spearheaded special projects including the creation of two church cookbooks. In recognition of her faithful service and leadership, including her role as President of the Women’s Ministry, she was awarded an ARP Women’s Ministries Life Membership.

Beyond her church involvement, Terry was an active supporter of the local homeschooling community and a committed participant in Bible Study Fellowship, where she enjoyed studying Scripture, encouraging others in their faith, and building lasting friendships.

Terry will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her steadfast faith, her servant’s heart, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her. She leaves a lasting legacy in the lives of her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, church family, and the many friends and loved ones who were blessed by her encouragement, wisdom, and example.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11 a.m., with a visitation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Terry’s memory to the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Playground Capital Improvement Fund, a ministry that reflects her love for children, families, and the church community she faithfully served.

The family invites all who knew Terry to remember her with love, gratitude, and the cherished memories she leaves behind.
