Great Falls, SC – Mr. Thomas Henry Frost, 75, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A native of Great Falls, SC, Mr. Frost was the son of the late Henry Thomas Frost and the late Annie Payne Frost. He was a graduate of York Technical College and retired in 2016 as an OM Technician from Duke Power with 38 years of experience. Family was everything to Tommy. He loved to travel, and some of the happiest memories were made during their many trips to Disney World over the years. He and Cathy made it a cherished tradition to take each of their children and grandchildren to Disney when they turned three years old, creating lasting memories for each generation.
An outdoorsman, Tommy loved to hunt and fish. He was an excellent cook, a “grill-master” and loved gardening in his organic garden.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Cathy Bruce Frost; his daughter, Kimberly Frost and her husband, Adam Kirchenbauer of Goose Creek, SC; his son-in-law, Van Henson of Blythewood, SC; his brother, Mark Frost (Terrie) of Great Falls, SC; his sister, Marcia Lighthart (David) of Lancaster, SC; his brother-in-law, Sam Coleman; and his three grandchildren, Bryce Henson, Harper Henson and Matthew Kirchenbauer, whom he deeply loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Melissa Frost Henson and his sister, Becky Coleman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tommy’s name to Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands, 1600 Marion Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
