Daryn Wesley Hill, 29 passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Born in Rockingham, NC on August 7, 1997, Daryn was the son of Annette and Kenneth Moran and Chip and Becky Hill. He is preceded in death by his brother, Christian Moran, his maternal grandparents, Dot and Melvin Long and his paternal grandmother, Lynne Hill.
Daryn was an Automotive Body Shop Sales Representative at Muscle Paints by Design. He graduated from York Comprehensive High School in 2016. He enjoyed playing video games and watching animated comedies on TV. His latest new hobby was growing fruits and vegetables, especially lemon and lime trees. He had a true passion for Honda’s. Most days you could find him puttering on his car with his best friend, Cody.
Aside from his parents, Daryn is survived by his son, Dustin Lee Hill; his brothers, Tyler Moran (Emily), Justin Moran (Kate), and Nathan Moran; his grandparents, Katherine Long, Mickey Bowers (Belinda), and Marion Moran Faulkenberry (Jerry); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Daryn will always be known for his huge heart, his love for his mama, and for making people laugh. He had a soft spot for any and all animals, to include reptiles, which he kept as pets. He loved his dog, Luke Duke, dearly.
Family will receive and welcome friends on Friday, September 4, 2026 starting at 4:20pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732. A service will take place following the visitation at 5:30pm.
