Linda Hartsell Chandler, 79, of Rock Hill, S.C., passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2026, surrounded by her family.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Grandview Memorial Park, 387 Hollis Lakes Rd Rock Hill, South Carolina 29732.
Born on June 14, 1947, in Rock Hill, S.C., Linda was deeply loved by her family. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, humor, and strength.
Linda devoted her life to raising her family and working. She especially enjoyed reading and spending time with her loved ones. Those who knew her will always remember her stories and unconditional love.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Tammy Chandler Hill; granddaughters Kristie Chandler Sheppard and Tyffany Chandler (Josh Dixon); grandsons, Michael Luke Chandler and Alex McDowell (Megan); her sister, Barbara Hartsell Alford; her brother, Bill Hartsell; four great-grandchildren, ZyAire and ZaMari Lorick and Kinsley and Braelyn Dixon; and many loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Shaun Chandler; her mother, Margret Porter Price; and her sister, Joann Hartsell Costner.
Linda will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
