Rock Hill, SC – Elizabeth Fay Boatwright, age 80, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
Elizabeth was born in York County, Rock Hill, and dedicated her life to her wonderful family.
Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Robert Mack Boatwright and Annie Louise Giles Boatwright.
She was the beloved wife of Graham Boatwright and a loving mother to Graham Boatwright, Tim Boatwright, and Teresa James. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Chapman, and her brother, Terry Boatwright. She was a proud grandmother to 9 grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren.
Aside from her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her siblings Bobby Boatwright, Charles Boatwright, Jerry Boatwright, and Donnie Boatwright, as well as Joyce Fultz, Kay Wright, Brenda Boatwright, and Myra Boatwright.
A retired employee of J.R. Cole Industries, Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, solving word puzzles, coloring, watching her favorite Disney movies, and caring for her pet bird, Pete.
The family would graciously like to extend their gratitude to her extended family, Tracey, Robin, Tabatha, and Angela, to whom they express their appreciation for all their support.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. A Memorial Service will take place at the funeral home at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests and welcomes contributions toward Elizabeth’s final expenses.
