Judy Boan Johnson, 73, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
Born in Boston, MA, Judy was the daughter of the late James Lorrell Boan and the late Katherine Georgias Boan. She was also preceded in death by her son, Frank E. Mead; her granddaughter, Amber N. Mead; her sisters, Betty A. Estes and Katherine Daries, as well as her brother, Thomas D. Boan and nephews, Randy Estes and Tommy Boan.
Judy enjoyed tending to her flowers and taking care of her bird, Diane. She loved to visit and spend as much time as she could with her family.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Laura Mead Spurlock (Jim); her son, Roy C. Strickland, Jr.; her beloved grandchildren, Curtis Roberts, Stacie Oxendine, Robert J, Hart (Paige) of Chester, SC, Jim Flood (Amanda) Lockhart and Amanda Conner (Corey) of Union, SC; along with numerous great grandchildren.
