Teresa Bradley King, born April 11, 1961, in York County, South Carolina, to JoAnn Wix Bradley and Paul F. Bradley, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
A graduate of Rock Hill High School, Teresa continued her education at York Technical College. She dedicated 28 years of her professional life to serving as a Revenue Officer with the South Carolina Department of Revenue.
Teresa was married to her former husband, James “Jimmy” David King, for 28 years. Though their marriage ended, they maintained a loving co-parenting friendship and remained connected through their children and family until the end.
Above all else, Teresa took tremendous pride in being a mother. She cherished her sons, James Stephen King (Kate) and Andrew David King, and found immense joy in being a grandmother to Garrison King, Ayden King, Charlotte King, and Averie Rambo. Her grandchildren were a source of great happiness, and the time she spent with them was among her most treasured moments.
Teresa had a love for the simple things that made life beautiful. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden, visiting with her grandchildren, and spending time with her mother and sisters. She was also a loving and steadfast presence in the lives of her nieces and nephews. She poured into them with love, wisdom, encouragement, and a willingness to help whenever they needed her.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Paul F. Bradley.
She is survived by her mother, JoAnn Wix Bradley; her sister, Cathy Carter (David); her sister, Paula Blackwell; her sons, James Stephen King (Kate) and Andrew David King; her grandchildren, Garrison King, Ayden King, Charlotte King, and Averie Rambo and many beloved nieces, nephews, and their families.
Teresa will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the wisdom and encouragement she shared, her devotion to her family, and the lasting impact she had on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in her children and grandchildren, in the family she loved so deeply, and in all those she encouraged along the way.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 10:00-10:45am at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11:00am, with Rev. Stephen King and Rev. David Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park-Hollis Lakes, 401 Hollis Lakes Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732.
