Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Elizabeth C. Hunter, age 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Elizabeth was born in Lancaster, SC on March 22, 1948, and retired from Hearst Celanese Corporation after 35 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, all three brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George Mickey Hunter; three children, Ron Hunter (Allyson), Sherry Hunter, and Pamela Hudson (Michael); seven grandchildren, Ryan Locklair, Lauren Locklair (D’metrius), Kristin Pfirman (Blake), Brent Hudson, Matthew Hunter, Patrick Hunter, and Joshua Hunter; and nine great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2025 at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
