Robert Bobby Reid, age 69, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, surrounded by his family.  Born on June 9, 1957, he was the beloved son of Arthur Reid and Martha Reid Faris.  Bobby lived life with a passion for classic cars, softball, and motorsports, enjoyed restoring old vehicles, spending time talking with friends and relaxing in his favorite recliner watching television.  He was a hard worker and any project he started was done at his pace and to his satisfaction.

A devoted husband, parent, Pop Pop, and friend, Bobby leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through generations.  He will be remembered for his humble nature, laid-back spirit, and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Generous to a fault, Bobby would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. He never met a stranger, and if he talked to you for more than five minutes, you knew he liked you. His kindness, warmth, easygoing personality, and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him, and his memory will be cherished by all who loved him.  If the world had more people like Bobby, it would undoubtedly be a better place.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Sandy Reid; his children Kim (Tim) Huddleston and Jamie (Lauren) Reid; his grandchildren, Brittany (Chris) Hutchins, Brantlee Huddleston, Tyler (Leah) Huddleston, Dawson Reid, Raegan Reid and Bryson Curtis; his great grand-daughters, Harper Hutchins and River Huddleston; his brother, Buddy Reid; and many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Reid and his mother Martha Reid Faris and furry best friends Duster and Sailor.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the CVICU Registered Nurses at Piedmont Medical Center for their love, support, and compassion during this time. Their help getting the family through this unexpected circumstance was a blessing.
