It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robin Lynn Campbell Bare, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Born on December 3, 1966, in Freeport, IL, Robin departed this world on October 15, 2026, at Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. Her spirit, warmth, and love left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Robin was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Frank Grabow Jr. and Shelby Jean Black. She was predeceased by her parents, along with a daughter and a son, whose memories she held close to her heart.
Robin is survived by her devoted spouse, Billy Joe Bare, who stood by her side through life’s ups and downs. She leaves behind her sons, Gregory Otto (Johnnie) and Randy Otto (Juanita), who carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. Robin’s sisters, Toni Eichholz (Ken) and Kristie Morgan (Steve), shared a deep bond with her and will forever cherish the memories of their sisterly adventures. Robin’s heart was filled with joy by her grandchildren: Angel, Chloe, Mia, and Gracie. She also embraced her extended family, including four stepchildren and numerous step-grandchildren, along with multiple nieces and nephews, each of whom she loved dearly.
Robin found immense joy and companionship in her beloved pets: her dog, Diamond, and her cats, Precious and Autumn. These cherished animals were not just pets but part of her family, bringing her comfort and happiness throughout her life. She found a sense of community and adventure with the motorcycle group ABATE, which her husband Billy is a member of.
In honor of Robin’s generous spirit, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting the kindness and compassion that Robin exemplified throughout her life.
Robin Lynn Campbell Bare will be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle soul, and her enduring strength. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
