Janis Ann Vincent, 70, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, surrounded by the people she loved most.
Janis was a loving mother and grandmother whose family meant everything to her. She was the daughter of the late Walter Hunsucker and is survived by her beloved mother, Reba Munroe.
She is also survived by her daughter, Angela Wood James (Mickey); her son, Thomas Dewain Vincent; her sisters, Dale Ramsey and Laine Owings (Gary); and her brothers, Kenny Hunsucker (Mae) and Wade Hunsucker. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Keith Wood (Amber), Tyler Wood, and Colton Wood (Layla), who she loved to be around.
Janis enjoyed cross-stitching whenever she was able, her family will always keep and remember some of the beautiful pieces she created. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.
Family will receive and welcome friends on Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a cancer association of your choice in Janis’s honor.
