Rock Hill, SC – Michael Craig Arant, 61, passed away on October 26, 2026, at his home. He was born in York County, SC, on November 24, 1964.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, John Arant.
He is survived by his mother, Frances Carnes Arant; brother, Brian C. Arant; nieces, Breann Arant and Alley Arant; and his beloved cat, Boyd Chowder, whom he treated like his own child.
Michael graduated from Northwestern High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from The Citadel. Michael had a passion for music and enjoyed playing his guitars. He even had his own band. Michael will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
