She is survived by her husband, Wylie Totherow Sr.; sons, Billy Pittman (Teresa,) Scott Pittman (Rachel,) daughter, Ashley Kirkland (Jimmy,) Five step-sons and their families, sisters, Glenda Karriker (Todd,) and Stuart Westerlund; grandchildren, Hannah Kirkland West (Logan,) Hunter Kirkland (Scott,)  Brandon Pittman (Leanna,) Eric Pittman, Harley Pittman, Raylan Raymes and Sabrina Raymes, Meagan Dailey (Justin,) Mackenzie LaFlamme (Zack,) special niece, Sonya Horne (Jim,) and special nephew Kem McKinney (Holly,) and Gage Westerlund, along with several other very special great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Though our hearts are broken we find solace in the beautiful legacy of love she left behind.  Marian was a caregiver at heart, always putting the needs of her family and friends before her own.  She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother and nana. She excelled at motherhood and was the foundation of our family through and through, which resulted in her also being the absolute best nana and “O. G” nana to her grandchildren & great children. She created a loving and joyful home where food, celebration, laughter and love abounded.

Small in stature, but tremendous in heart, Marian was always ready to take on the largest of adversaries when it came to her family and loved ones.

She was not only a mother, wife, nana, and sister, but an inspiration and guiding light to many. She was a listening ear, never judging, only providing love and encouragement.

She had a passion for gardening that was reflected in the numerous beautiful flower and vegetable gardens around her home that she loved to show off when she had visitors.  She had a green thumb like no other and enjoyed sharing cuttings of her favorite plants with others so they too could enjoy their beauty.  She was a wonderful cook, and made sure anyone who visited enjoyed what she had, rarely taking “no” for an answer.  She shared her love of cooking with her children and grandchildren ensuring they each knew how to prepare their favorite dishes or desserts.

Although, Marian will be deeply missed she will live on in the many lives she touched.  Until we see you again, “we love you more!”
