Shirley Ann Flower, 79, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 21, 2025.
Born on October 30, 1945, in Rock Hill, SC, Shirley was the daughter of the late Everett Thomas Hoagland and the late Elizabeth Vermel Terry Hoagland.
Shirley is survived by her children, June Shouse (Scott), Marsha Cunupp (Tommy), David Cunupp, and Dana Cannon (Jason); her sister, Doris Mobley as well as 13 cherished grandchildren and 28 beloved great-grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Flower; her daughters, Denise Michelle Cunupp and Shirley Ellen Cunupp; her siblings, Wanda Laney and Paul Hoagland and several other loved ones.
Shirley had a passion for animals, especially cats, and found joy in gambling and playing cards. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her love for life and warmth will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Shirley’s life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 6pm located at 118 S. Confederate Ave. Rock Hill, SC 29730. Casual attire is appropriate or however you feel comfortable in.
Shirley will be forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials or donation may be made in Shirley’s name to the Humane Society of Fort Mill, South Carolina.
