Kent Brinckmeyer

Kent Brinckmeyer, 69, passed away on February 21, 2025. He was born on October 31, 1955, in Fort Hood, Texas to the late Jack and Guyla Brinckmeyer.

He is survived by his two sisters, Kimberly Brinckmeyer and  Kelly Sullivan; four daughters, Jenny Berry (Brian), Lindsay Barbicas (Mathew), Dawn Campanell (Garrett), Kayla Schmidt (Juan Ramirez); seven grandchildren, Aiden Campanell, Saryn Campanell, Madison Barbicas, Lena Barbicas, Luna Ramirez-Schmidt, Violet Ramirez-Schmidt, Zoe Ramirez-Schmidt; his former wife, Brenda Brinckmeyer and former wife, Barbara Uhl; aunt, Joye Garnett (Keith); and a niece, two nephews, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Don Sullivan.

Kent spent the majority of his life in the Northern Virginia area and worked as a small engine mechanic and landscaping sales and repairman. He had a deep appreciation for his friends and family and had a way of always making others smile. He loved the water and fishing and spent his last years living the island life in Key West, Florida.

Memorials may be made in Kent Brinckmeyer’s name to the American Heart Association or The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
