Loving father, grandfather, and husband Elton William Cole Jr., age 78, passed away on March 1, 2025. He was born on February 23, 1947, in Rock Hill, SC, to the late Elton William Cole Sr. and the late Sybil Small Cole.
He has preceded in death by his sister Carol Stanley and brothers Rici Cole and Johnny Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny W. Cole; daughters, Lee Korbus, Marie Cole; grandchildren, Hailey Korbus, Cole Wages, D.J. Dart, Gracie Foster; sister Phyllis C. Williams ; nieces, Dee Wyatt, Gay Pickel; nephews, Freddie Stanley, Scott Stanley, Jeff Stanley, and Matt Stanley.
Elton worked and retired from Comporium. One of his biggest gifts is he never met a stranger. He very much enjoyed fishing with friends and spending time with his family.
A memorial service will be held on March 12th at 2pm at Shield of Faith Church, 2499 Firetower Rd. Rock Hill, SC. Family will have visitation starting at 1:15 prior to start of 2pm service.
