Rock Hill, SC — Brenda T. Laney, 75, passed away on April 25, 2025, surrounded by family. Born September 29, 1949, in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late Paul T. Threatt and Virginia Orr Threatt. Brenda was the beloved wife of the late John Frank Laney. She worked for many years at Synders-Lance company.
Brenda is survived by her grandchildren, Justin Laney (Samantha) of Sharon, SC; Jessica Condon (Josh) of Virginia Beach, VA; Saleta Morris of Fort Mill, SC; Christopher Laney of Virginia Beach, VA; Kristin Morris (Daniel) of Rock Hill, SC; Cody Morris (Amber) of Rock Hill, SC; and Laura Morris (DJ) of Fort Mill, SC; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
There will be a funeral ceremony for Brenda Laney on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 2 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, with Pastor Mark Orr officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, beginning at 1 PM. Burial will follow the service at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, 620 S. Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
