Aside from her parents, Michelle is survived by her siblings, Jennifer Dozier (Sam) and Michael Paul Bruce (Tammy); her children Brian Keith Wells Jr. (Ashlynne), Savanna Newton (Tyler), and Casey Wells; her two grandchildren Parker Wells and Charlie Newton; her nieces Presley Dozier and Maggie Bruce, and nephew Dalton Bruce, as well as her other loves Aaron Turner, Skylar Turner, and Luke Turner.
Michelle would talk about her adolescence and growing up with her maternal grandparents who had an in home nursing facility. She would help get them ready for appointments and outings. She had some of the funniest stories and wasn’t very well liked by some of the clients. One of her funniest memories was tying a patients shoes and they decided to pull her hair and not let go to teach her a lesson. She had met her match with someone with as much spunk as she had herself.
She trained in gymnastics and loved sports. She was always on the sidelines of her children’s activities. She was their biggest cheerleader. She praised their good grades and was incredibly proud of their collegiate achievements, their careers, and their beautiful families. Being a relatively new grandma, her grandchildren held her heart.
Michelle loved animals and was known to help with rescue fostering. She put her heart and soul in the care of her pets.
Michelle worked for Pilgrims Inn, a local nonprofit in Rock Hill. She loved working with this organization. Her work mattered because the people who needed help through their resources mattered.
Family will welcome friends on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 2p.m. – 4p.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 28732.
