Rock Hill, SC – Kimberly Marie Wearley, 59, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, April 25, 2025, at her home in Rock Hill, SC.
Kimberly Marie Wearley was born on October 7, 1965, to the late Michael Sturick and Eleanor Flegal Sturick in Syracuse, NY. As one of eight siblings, Kim lived her life with joy. She was always the life of the party and was welcoming to everyone. To her daughter’s friends, she was affectionately referred to as “Mama.” Kim married the love of her life, Tim Wearley, and the couple that became iconically became known as “Tim and Kim” spent 24 wonderful years together. As a dedicated mother and wife, Kim was also very dedicated to her career. She spent 27 years with West Marine in the inventory recovery department and loved all of her friends she met along the way at work. She also dearly loved her dogs, Dixie and Layla. In her free time, she loved to travel to the mountains and support the New York Giants. She also proudly recognized herself as a “dead head”, as she loved to listen to the Grateful Dead.
Kim is survived by her loving husband, Tim Wearley; her daughter, Mikanna Nicole Wearley (C.J. Thomas); her brothers, James Sturick (Audrey), David Sturick (Suzanna), and Michael Sturick (Laura); her sisters, Patricia “Patty” Sturick, Michelle Sturick, and Debra Jones; her grandsons, Jace Bennett and Donniven Brewster; her former sister and law, Leann Sturick; her parents-in-law, Daniel J. Boone and Carol Anne Boone; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her late parents; and her sister, Carolyn Bision (David).
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
