Mr. Christian Calvin Habbe, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at his home.
Mr. Habbe was the son of the late Christian F. Habbe, Jr. and the late Barbara Hunt Habbe. He was a 1959 graduate of Whitesboro Central School in Whitesboro, NY and served in the United States Navy as a Seaman. Mr. Habbe worked as a Baker’s Assistant at Marcy State Hospital in Marcy, NY. He later retired from Chicago Pneumatic Tool where he worked as a Senior Lab Technician. He enjoyed spending time with his wife square and round dancing. They were members of the Belles and Beaus Square Dance Club in Matthews, NC.
Mr. Habbe is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Shareen Small Habbe; daughter, Lori A. Habbe of Rock Hill; son, Michael C. Habbe (Lisa) of Ocala, FL; and granddaughter, Jennifer Fisher.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 11:00-12:30 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Burial will be held in Carr Cemetery in Marcy, NY at a later date.
