Michael Hugh Thomas Sr. ” Mike”, 70, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025 at his home peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
Michael was born on April 9, 1955, he was the son of the late David Leonard Thomas Sr. and the late Wilma Lavern Thomas.
Mike is survived by his wife, Evelyn Thomas of the home; his three grandsons, Anthony, Christian, and Devin; his brothers, David Thomas Jr., Mitchell Thomas, Douglas Thomas, and John Thomas, as well as his nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his son, Michael Hugh Thomas Jr.
Mike worked construction most of his life as a roofer. His hobbies were fishing and playing golf. He also had a love for astronomy and enjoyed working on crossword puzzles while watching his favorite tv shows.
Family will receive and welcome friends on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 4 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732.
