Rock Hill, SC – Mr. John McAfee Stone, 77, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at White Oak Manor – Rock Hill.
Services for Mr. Stone will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Dr. Ron Richardson officiating.
Mr. Stone was born in Chester, SC, and was the son of the late John C Stone and the late Connie Cato Stone. He was retired from Founders Federal Credit Union as a Regional Manager and a member of Catawba Baptist Church.
Mr. Stone is survived by his wife, M. Deborah Sturgis Stone; his daughter, Julie Stone of Richburg; his two grandsons, Caleb and Noah Sloan; and his sister, Anice Grant of Spartanburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Stone’s name to Catawba Baptist Church, 1450 S. Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
