Linda McDonald, age 80, of Rock Hill, SC, stepped peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
Born on November 15, 1944, in Ontario Canada, Linda was the daughter of Melvin (Daddy)Bonus and Mary Bonus. She was known for her gentle heart, quick wit, and unshakable faith. Her life was a quiet testimony to grace, strength, and deep love—for her family, her friends, and the Lord. She found joy in joy in simple pleasures and cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and friend above all else. Her laughter, her stories, and the warmth of her presence will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters: Tawnya McDonald (Jennifer Greggs), and Nicole Ford (Martin Ford); and her beloved grandchildren: Chloe Little (Alex Little), Julia Ostrower (Corey Ostrower), Alex Belk (Jimmy Belk), and Jordan Mastera (Tyler Mastera).
Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, wrapped in the eternal embrace of the Lord she loved so dearly.
The family asks that memorials be made to Providence Hospice, 500 Lakeshore Pkwy Rock Hill, SC 29730, in lieu of flowers. In honoring Linda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or farewell.
