Jason Bradley Soles, 46, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16th, after a courageous and hard-fought battle at NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia Medical Center. In December, doctors discovered a large mass in his abdomen. Lindsay and Jason began a nationwide search for doctors. After meeting with many specialists, they found the only team in the country with both the expertise and the willingness to attempt its removal. Placing Jason in the hands of one of the nation’s most renowned surgical teams was a decision made with clarity and conviction, as it was the only path forward.

Jason was born in Gainesville, Florida, and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. From a young age, he developed a deep love and passion for music.  He loved performing, attending concerts, and Jason and Lindsay have an impressive vinyl collection.  A proud Florida native, he was a die-hard Gators fan and a proud Green Bay Packers Shareholder.  He also never met a dog he didn’t love, too many to name.

Blessed with an analytical mind, Jason became a Mechanical Designer and truly loved both his work and his job. He gave 100% to everything- whether it was lawn care, home improvement projects, or drawing a birthday card for his loved ones. If there was a job to do, he had the tool for it—usually the best one, and probably two backups, just in case.

In 2017, he met his true kindred spirit and wife, Lindsay Chambers Soles. They had an instant connection that was undeniable. Together they embraced life with open arms—traveling the world, chasing adventure, and building a whole lifetime of memories in 7 years. They accomplished so much in their short time together. It was evident to everyone he loved his Beb.

Jason lived life authentically, with purpose and passion. He embodied the words of Chino Moreno, lead singer of the band Deftones: “Be unapologetically you; that’s your greatest power.” He stayed true to who he was and inspired others to do the same.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Lindsay Chambers Soles; his parents, Phil and Mattie Soles; his brother, Jarrett Soles (Liz); his mother- and father-in-law, Ross and Holly Chambers; his sister-in-law, Allison Dreznes (John); and his nieces, Eleanor and Delaney Dreznes. A heartfelt thank you to Michael Coyer for his unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement — he has truly been a rock for Jason and Lindsay throughout this journey.  He is also survived by a large, loving circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, loyalty, and humor that will be deeply missed and impossible to replace.

Visitation hours will be held on July 3rd from 4:00-6:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home located at 2133 Ebenezer Road Rock Hill, SC 29732.

In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting donations to St. Judes Foundation or Richardson Animal Rescue located at 1968 Garvin Road, York, SC.
