Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Ronald Heyward Bailey Jr., age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at his home in Rock Hill. Born on April 17, 1969, he was the son of his late father, Ronald Heyward Bailey, Sr and his mother Mary Ethel McSwain Bailey.
He is survived by his only daughter, Grace Bailey and her husband Joshua Long. Also, his mother, Mary Bailey; his sister, Edna Bailey and his brother Daniel Bailey, all of Rock Hill. His sister Geneva (Bailey) Sipe, niece, Mary (Tadlock) Wylie, and nephew Barry Dean Tadlock Jr. all of Virginia.
He is also survived by his dear friend, Virginia Canfield, mother-in-law of Ronald’s late wife, Joanna Sparks.
Ronald was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and York Technical College. He loved working with computers and playing games, eating at Golden Corral with his dear friend, watching his shows on TV, and soaking up some sun from his porch. He loved his family and friends very much.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, at 2:00pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC.
