Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Timothy Ray McCall, 73, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Lancaster Health & Rehab.
The service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Edgemoor ARP Church, 2135 Starnes Road, Edgemoor, SC 29712, with Reverend Bob Elliott,III officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church, following the burial and other times at the home of Tom and Anne Love.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Tim was the son of the late Lucien Ray McCall and the late Margaret Zachary McCall. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna Murphy McCall and his sister, Gail McCall Allen. He served in the US National Guard and completed his basic training at Fort Jackson. Tim was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing sports in his younger years. He loved playing horseshoes and always enjoyed hosting family at his swimming pool. Continuing his love for sports, he was a huge fan of the Clemson Tigers, the Atlanta Braves, and the Carolina Panthers. When they were able, he and his wife, Donna, were found often at Lewisville High School sporting events, supporting the athletic teams. He was a long-time member of Edgemoor ARP Church in Edgemoor, SC and proudly served as a Deacon.
Surviving are his sister, Anne (Tom) Love of Rock Hill, SC; his son, Scott McCall of Charlotte, NC; his brother-in-law, David Allen; numerous nieces and nephews; and his loyal, life-long friends, David Feemster and Steve Simpson.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation for their wonderful care of Tim.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. McCall’s name to Edgemoor ARP Church, 2135 Starnes Road, Edgemoor, SC 29712.
