Mr. Henry James Stephenson, 93, a beloved father and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025.
Henry was born on May 3, 1932, in Thomasville, Georgia, to the late Boyd Stephenson and Moreta Shepherd Stephenson. Aside from his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Barbara J. Stephenson.
Henry was a devoted family man, he is survived by his three children, Randy (Paige) Stephenson, Cathy Bost, and David (Cathy) Stephenson. In addition to his children, Henry will lovingly be remembered by his eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Henry enjoyed fishing and woodworking, often crafting beautiful furniture that showcased his skill and creativity. He was also a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves. Henry was an active member of the OWLS Club, a senior social club in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he enjoyed the fellowship with his peers.
A visitation for Henry will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 1 PM, followed by a service at 2 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, located at 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29715.
