Rock Hill – Mr. Billy Ray Parker, 82, passed away Friday, August, 2025 at CaroMont Health Center in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Mr. Parker was born in Monroe, NC and the son of the late David W. Parker and the late Mary Ola Reeder Parker. He lived in Monroe, NC until 1964 then moved to Rock Hill. He was a graduate of the Columbia Barber School and owned and operator a Barber Shop for over 60 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Parker; and his brothers, Henry Parker and Charles Parker.
A graveside service for Mr. Parker will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 with Reverend Mark Collins officiating.
Mr. Parker is survived by his sons, Billy Ray Parker, Jr. and wife, Gina, and Danny Ray Parker and wife, Robin; his daughter, Cathy Lawrence; and his grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
