Rock Hill, SC – Alice W. Evans (Faye), passed away on March 28, 2026. She was born on January 20, 1929, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Faye lived in Edgemoor from 1960 until 2021 before returning to Rock Hill, where she remained until her passing.
She was the daughter of the late Ernest T. Williams and Allie Mae Hasty. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Evans; her twin brother, Ernest (Ray) Williams; her sister, Beatrice Barnes; and her brothers, Reggie Williams and Larry Williams.
Faye is survived by her children, Sheila Geary (Don Geary), Beverly Bradford “Paulette” (Bill Bradford), and Paul Steven “Steve” Evans (Lisa Evans); her grandchildren, Michelle Devinney (Donnie), Joel Geary (Marissa), Josiah Evans (Richard), Rob Rogers (Heather) , Jonna Farner (Ken), Caylan Moody, and Will Evans; and her great-grandchildren, Dusten Devinney (Heather), Kelsey Devinney, Hailey Rogers, Landon Rogers, Dawson Rogers, Wyatt Geary, Paul Geary, Noah Farner, Lilly Farner, Madison Wilkes, Evan Wilkes, Jon Mai Hayman, Steven Moody, and Abigail Julian. She is also survived by her brother, Johnny (J.C.) Williams.
Faye retired from RH Printing & Finishing.
A graveside service will be held at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 11 am, with Gene Flack officiating the service. Family will greet friends immediately after the graveside service.
