Amanda Fields Hopkins, 44, passed away on January 7, 2025 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Amanda, born in Batesburg-Leesville on July 2, 1980 to the late Odell Fields and the late Tammy Willis Fields, is preceded in death by her step-son, Branden Hopkins.
Amanda graduated from Northwestern High in 1998. Throughout her high school tenure, Amanda studied Graphic Arts & Design. Once graduated, Amanda was employed by The Horne Corporation.
Amanda volunteered throughout York County with numerous agencies, these agencies included Keystone Substance Abuse Services, Palmetto Women’s Center, etc.
She is survived by her husband, Michael W. Hopkins Jr.; daughter, Haylee Bryson (Aaron); son, Jason James Wood; step-son, Michael Hopkins III; brothers, Johnny Fields and Robert Fields; and many nephews.
Amanda loved God, her family, and her beloved cats she took in over the years. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh and her unmatched sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by all.
