Ann F. Cody, 91, of Rock Hill, passed away peacefully at her home, January18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Cody (Bob). She is survived by her three children, Stephen Cody (Melissa) of Nolensville, TN; Susan Cody of Rock Hill; Nancy Cody of Charlotte, NC; granddaughters, Ashley Cody Stillman and Haley Cody of TN.
Ann was a true Renaissance woman. She was an accomplished classical pianist, a music teacher, an antique dealer, fabulous cook and baker. She loved literature, theater, art and travel. She adored animals especially her beloved Corgi. She was passionate about so many things in her life, above all, her religion and her family. Ann will always be remembered for her wicked sense of humor and her infectious laugh, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved and adored her.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held Friday, February 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at The Oratory Church, 434 Charlotte Ave, Rock Hill 29730. The family will receive visitors from 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service. A private burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Rock Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Providence Care Hospice, 500 Lakeshore Parkway, Rock Hill, SC 29730 or to the charity of one’s choice.
